Jazzin'

So, my camera is not working.  It's really too bad, because I love taking pictures.  I have had to improvise a bit and use my computer camera.  The only issue I have with the comp. camera is that everything is mirrored. 

Anyways, last Friday, I was in charge of date night.  I bought David a "surprise" 3 weeks or so ago. I have been saving it for a special occasion, which has been very hard. Finally, I decided to do another scavenger hunt.  This time, there was a real prize.  His goal was to earn 20 M&Ms by performing several tasks.  The first was to make 3 free throws in a row. Then he had to recite a love poem to me on a park bench, push me on the swing, and read a children's book to me at the library.  It was pretty cheesy. But, we had a good time.  David is always so nice to go along with my silly ideas.

By the time we got home, he had earned his M&Ms. So, he got his long-awaited surprise... a Jazz t-shirt.  The Jazz are one of David's favorite teams, even though they didn't do very well during playoffs. He is a loyal fan. He loves his prize. I guess it was worth entertaining me on our silly date :)

On Saturday, David started working at the plant nursery again. He worked there last winter/summer.  He worked from 8-5.  I worked from 2-9:30. So, we didn't see each other much.  When he picked me up after work, he had these flowers in his hands!  He is the sweetest boy. He even brought a vase with him and filled it with his water bottle. So thoughtful.  Also, yesterday was the mark of 4 months of marriage.  At this time, David would like to say "After these many months of marriage, I can honestly say that I love her more than I did on our wedding day." One of his greatest aspirations is to share this during testimony meeting at church. He cracks me up.
