Gone Fishin'

Keenan bought this fishing pole for Annika on May 30.   The plan was to take her fishing the next day (my birthday). However, about 14 hours after Keenan gave Annika her the Princess fishing pole, Benson made his debut. We didn't go on 5/31 for obvious reasons. Keenan practiced casting the line and reeling it in with her pretty much every time he came over. And about a month later, Keenan and my dad took her fishing for her first time. Keenan wanted to make sure that he was the first person to take her fishing. (he left for his mission July 10)
Dad and Keenan were supposed to arrive around 9 am to pick her up. Annika was dressed and ready to go with her snacks and purse, which she had gathered herself, for about 30 minutes before they arrived. It was sad and sweet to see her all ready to go and waiting. My dad got some awesome pictures. I'm so happy that Keenan was able to teach her about something he loves.
