In July, I told David I would like to have a surprise romantic getaway. The surprise part being that I wanted him to plan the excursion. He wanted to tell me several times. And I wanted to know what the plans were several times. Lucky for us, these yearnings to tell or know never crossed paths. David did a great job booking the hotel and getting tickets to our event. I will admit that I was slightly worried that everything would be planned. But, he is obviously a qualified surpriser.
Here is his "surprise" face when we reached our destination. We went to a Tri-cities Dust Devils baseball game! It was fun to do something out of the norm. The best part was knowing that he planned it for us.
And it just happened to be dollar hotdog and pop night!
We stayed at a hotel in Richland (which had a swimming pool- forgot the swimsuits!). We went to the temple in the morning. On the way home, I really wanted to stop at some yard sales and David obliged (that means he took me to the yard sales:). He really is so nice to me.

You know Molly, you don't really need a swimsuit to go swimming ... especially a hotel pool ;)
ReplyDeleteKimi and I miss you both. Maybe Kimi and I should do a Washington trip and say hello! Then I can pour more water down David's pant leg.
Fun!!! :)
