Life is good.
My mom is halfway done with chemo treatments! It looks like they have found the right combination of nausea and pain medications for her. She has had so many good days in a row over the last 2 weeks; granted, a "good" day has a tainted definition these days.
David was just hired as the JV Tennis coach for the high school! He has been wanting to coach tennis, but we weren't planning on it for this year. A position unexpectedly opened up this week. He is really excited for this little adventure! My brother Keenan is on the team, along with 25 or so other kids. I know David will be an awesome coach! It will take some adjusting to juggle lesson planning, church calling, tennis, watching Sports Center, and Molly time. But, he claims he knows how to juggle. We'll see:) I'm planning to help out at practice every once in awhile.
David just found out today that he gets to go to Nashville for a teacher training (reading)! How awesome is that!? Hopefully, I'll be able to go with him.
We love living in Othello with all the family. I am so grateful for the blessing of living here to be close to my mom right now especially. I know that it wasn't a coincidence that David was able to get a teaching job here. We are so blessed.
Glad to hear you mom is doing well! I get updates from my mom every now and then! Congrats to all of David's exciting news! So true about being blessed (what an incredible tender mercy!) WE love you guys, Please tell your family Howdy for us!
ReplyDeleteYay for being half way done with chemo! My mom loved being up there and spending time with her sister and all of you. It was really good for her to see Pam. And lots of good news for your little family. Good luck coaching tennis David!
ReplyDelete"But, he claims he knows how to juggle." Gave me a good laugh.
ReplyDeleteLet us know when we can come watch a tennis match. The kids would love it. But the weather needs to warm up first.
Your mom is sill in our prayers.
Yep, that's cheesy! Just kidding, I loved it! I really can't tell you enough how much I love and appreciate you and Stinker David.
