Anniversary and Valentine's Day

We had a wonderful celebration of our 1st Anniversary (12/27). David wrote me the sweetest letter. We spent a day in Tri-cities a few days after. We went to the temple and out to eat at Red Robin- the same place we ate on one of our honeymoon days. We were actually seated in the same booth or the one next to the one we sat in a year ago. I thought that was kinda special. We also went to see Blind Side, which is an amazing movie. I won some free movie passes on the radio this summer (awesome!!) and they expired 12/31- we barely made it.

We ate a piece of our wedding cake topper. It was still pretty moist. My mom wrapped it up really well last year and it held its own in the freezer. The beautiful imprints on the fondant are still there too. My mom obviously did a great job making our cake if it can stand a year in the freezer and still look presentable!

Valentine's Day was interesting. I tried to find the perfect jacket or sweater for David, but I was unsuccessful. So, instead of buying him a bag of Dorritos, as he requested, I got him nothing. I'm still working on a belated v-day gift, as lame as that may sound.
David however, came through for me. He gave me a cute workout shirt (pictured) and beautiful flowers. I did pick out the shirt, but it still counts as a gift. We got gym memberships about a month ago. I don't always look forward to working out. But, it's so much easier and more fun to go with my David. We do our own thing when we get there, unless I can convince him to do the Spinners with me. Spinning is intense! I do enjoy it more each time that I try it though (3x so far:) It's fun when David does spinning with me because the 2 bikes are in this room off of the main gym. I just feel special that we are the only ones working out in that room. I am getting super strong too. :) I beat Keenan in arm wrestling last weekend- right and left arm! I know. Pretty impressive that I can beat my 15 year old brother at arm wrestling. I'm sure my reign as arm wrestling champion will end soon since he's starting to lift weights.
