My sweet boy gave me some of my favorite candy and a tender letter for Mother's day.
We went to Colorado for Janelle's farewell last weekend. It was so fun! The drive is gorgeous. It was hard to say goodbye to Janelle. She is an amazing friend and example. She is going to be an awesome missionary. We will miss her, but we're excited to hear from her while she is in the mission field.
Janelle and me
Erin came down for the weekend too. It was fun for the three of us to be together one last time.
We were also able to visit David's mission (North Denver). It was so fun to meet some of the families. The pictures above and below are the Taylor family. They told me I have married the most wonderful man in the world. I guess they really like him. They are a wonderful family. I felt comfortable in their home as soon as we walked through the door.

We went shooting on Janelle's family property. It was freezing, but we had a great time. This is David nonchalantly holding a 44 magnum in his hand. He definitely used both hands to shoot it. It has some serious kick.

It looks like you had so, so much fun in Colorado. David's gun scar looks pretty mean- youchy! I loved the picture of the 2 of you with the house in the background - such cutie-pies.
ReplyDeleteChad is so excited for David to be a little closer.
ReplyDeleteI hope he gets his scar. i'm glad you were able to go to colorado! sad i couldn't be there too.
ReplyDeleteThat looks painful! Glad you had fun.
ReplyDeleteoh you guys are too cute with all your love letters and fun trips! I'm glad you got to go see your friend, that is great. And David is such a boy to WANT it to leave a scar, right?! haha!
ReplyDeleteFun to see you guys the other night, and maybe we'll see you Saturday too.
MOTHER'S Day treats? Is that an announcement?!!
ReplyDelete...just like a Beus to want a huge scar on his face! Colson wants me to make sure David is okay. Colson will probably lose a little sleep over this until he knows his favoite uncle is okay, so maybe phone call is in order.
Oh, and cute jeans in Colorado Molly!
We should have stopped by, actually when we went through Spanish Fork I was wondering how close you lived to those windmills. Aren't you twp heading back to WA soon?
ReplyDeleteI don't think we are heading that far south again for a while. I amso jealous you are going home!! Where are you going to live? You are welcome to stop by if you come through SLC.
