September

I love my early morning walks with this boy. With my hip and back pain, I'm often up around 6. Going for walks has been so good for me. When I go alone, I listen to my scriptures. It's such a peaceful time of my day. And if Tyson is awake, I love the special one on one time I get with him on our walks.

We had Heather and Nathan's kids over for Annika's birthday party. I got several dollar store party favors and froze them in a big container of water. The kids loved melting and breaking through the ice to get the goods!

His hair is so darling!

I loved her patriotic outfit!

best photo posing award goes to Benson!

he poured his own bbq sauce :)

so handsome with his side parted hair! I hardly ever comb his hair. It's getting pretty long and I don't want to cut his sweet soft baby hair!

These two are so sweet together. Esther is such a sweet and attentive big sister.

overall twins!

I just love these little ones!

Our annual trip to the Adams County Fair. It's impossible to get a picture of 4 kids looking at the camera! :)

love!

we are so blessed to have these little ones in our family

Crystal (Gerber) and Adam Zurligen came over for David's birthday dessert. It was a surprise for David. Crystal was a great high school friend to him and she's become a dear friend to me. We wanted to get together and David's bday just happened to be a good day. David wasn't thrilled about having people over for his bday. Nothing personal. haha We both don't love having people over. They ended up having dinner with us too and we had a good time.

truffle shuffles (oreo truffles) for David's birthday!

we've started painting at our new house!! We officially owned it on 9/14, but the previous owner let us come in and start painting the beginning of September. Our little house at 1235 E Elm Street sold on 8/31. (Annika and David's bdays) We're trying to get all of the painting done before we get new carpet, which will be right before we move in the beginning of October. My dad and Keenan have helped so much with painting! It means a lot to me that my dad drives here from Wenatchee so often to help us paint. He just got a new sprayer and he was able to use it for our brick fireplace and brick archway in the kitchen and some of the trim. So nice to use a sprayer! I've spent many days and nights painting while David is home with the kids. Dena and Ellie, Rose, and Aunt Julie have helped me paint too.

we laid out 2x4s on our old carpet to spray the kitchen cabinets. The cabinet doors have been such a headache! We tried using a chemical to strip the grey paint, which the previous owner put over beautiful oak stained wood (so sad!). But the paint stripper wasn't working well enough for the amount of time it took. So we had Chance Buck take them to Jim Gilbert's shop and use a belt sander to take the doors down to bare wood. They're all sprayed with white now, thanks to my dad! Zack came for a weekend too. He helped me paint and install trim and he helped David install the kitchen cabinet doors with new silver brackets. We still need to do a back splash and paint and texture the sealing and some patches of wall in the kitchen. It's going to be beautiful when we're done!

Tyson came and did the CBHA color run/walk with me. It's a crazy time to do it since we're moving next weekend. But it was so good for me! I'm so glad I did it. We walked with Rose.

Uncle Shaun came and helped David take a few loads over to the new house!
