April

I wish Esther would keep this cute hat on!

this is how we watch Conference :)

Beusie gives the kids a lawn mower ride almost every time we come to visit. She is such a sweet grandma.
We made a day trip to the Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle over spring break. Papi took us in his car and paid for our zoo entrance. We bought his lunch :) The picture above is at the Cle Elum Bakery. We have to stop there every time we go to Seattle with Papi. I love those donuts!

checking out the penguins

We loved the zoo. But we were all tired and ready to go home after a few hours.

Annika was really into looking at the map and "navigating" for us. We brought a stroller for each kid. They didn't use them the whole time. But, we were definitely glad we had them!

A nice zoo employee was leaving when we came in. She gave us some free tokens for the carousel!

We went to Fat Burger in Isaquah on the way home. I'm pretty sure the kids were all sleeping when we pulled up.

Yummy sleeping baby!

our new wagon! I does so much better on the gravel. We had a cheap classic wagon. After several bumpy walks, we decided to sell it and get an all terrain wagon.

Zack bought Benson his first pair of Carhartts! They are so cute!

Yoga master zack and the kids at Lions Park

We went to play at the Vonbrachts in Warden. They are living at her parent's house while they are on their mission in Florida. They live right on the farm. It was so cool to get up close to the big equipment. Rose's brother was working on a sprayer when we went outside.

our resident artist!

Benson locked the door into the mud room. ugh. After many unsuccessful attempts to get it open, Dale Wagner (our neighbor sheriff) came over and used a hammer and putty knife to get it open. There was minimal damage. We had a good talk with Benson about not locking doors.

We ran into the Vonbrachts at the Del's Farm supply petting zoo. They had a free hot dog lunch. That was a little stressful. David wasn't with me. So I was trying to keep clothes as clean as possible (cheetos and ketchup) and hold Esther and feed myself. But the petting zoo was totally worth it. I love small community events like this!

Pam's Playground!

I think this was the painting Annika made of Abby and Shaun and their future twin babies :)

Matching PJs! Gram Pam bought this fabric and we cut out pjs for everyone. She didn't sew them. So Grandma Stock took them home and finished them for Christmas a few years ago. They all fit huge! Nobody kept them... :( Annika's finally fit her.

She often asks for curlers!

Sweet babe in her swim suit for the first time!

skinny dipping in the kiddy pool!

Esther loves to dig her hands into the potting soil!

cyst bump. I really did look pregnant!

Papi's birthday cake

I loved seeing the kids take turns on the roller coaster while the other one sat in the chair watching. #meltsmyheart

I made this dress for Annika from one of my old shirts. Esther must be a little broader and have bigger arms. I could barely get it on her. It is now part of the doll clothing collection. I wish it fit Esther better because I love the colors! Maybe if we have another girl, I will cut the sleeves off and widen the arm holes.

what a picture!

this boy loves manual labor! He often pulls the empty wagon up for me or pushes a bike up.

Esther loves buttons!
3 babes in the corner!

Benson loves his uncles!

We hiked Palouse Falls with Papi, Zack, Keenan, Dustin and Cassidy. David was at a tennis match. It was really fun. I carried Benson more than I would've liked to in my state of health (I was supposed to take it easy before the surgery to remove the cyst). And I WOULD NOT hike all the way to the top with the kids again. It was too scary to be up there above the waterfalls and think about someone falling. I would love to do it with David as a date sometime though!

at the top. Yikes those steep falls scared me!

chilling after the hike
