July

David went to the Dr to have his warts frozen off. This huge blister was the aftermath. Apparently, that's a normal occurrence. It was nasty! He is working at mosquito control, so we had to get big waterproof bandaids to keep infection out while it was open and draining.

We had a 4th of July bbq at Beusie's house. We love seeing Rebecca and all of the family. It's fun to be in Othello, at the center of the family action.

Grandpa gave the kids lots of back massages :)

4th of July Parade

I put Esther in bed and Papi stayed with the kids while we went to watch the city fireworks. We got ice cream at McDonald's after. It was a perfect, short date night. It was weird to leave Esther. She did cry for part of the time. But, she was in good hands :)
It is so fun to have two girls! Annika adores her sister.

She looks so tiny next to Annika!
On of my favorite pictures of all time. Papi gave Annika the magnifying glass :)

Sleepy babe. I've been putting her to sleep on her tummy on the floor. She falls asleep on her own and sleeps longer. I like having her out where I can keep an eye on her. So tummy time naps only work when Benson is asleep.

Grandma Stock got them these cute "Big sibling" outfits. She gave me some darling outfits and a blanket for Esther. She is so thoughtful. I love living close to my grandma.

Annika helping me out with a candid postpartum photo :) I look pretty good!

A few months before Esther was born, Bambie called me and asked if I would like her to make a blessing dress for Esther. I was so relieved and excited. I was planning to make her one. But, I'm not the best seamstress. Bambie is an awesome seamstress. She put buttons all the way up the back, which was perfect for the blessing day. She was asleep so I just slipped the sleeves over her arms and left the back open. I didn't get any pictures of just Esther on her blessing day in June. So I did this photo shoot in our back yard a few weeks later.

sibling love :)

Papi bought the kids matching outfits while he was in CA. I was a little hesitant to put Annika in a boy's outfit. But, she rocks everything she wears :)

mmm. baby smiles! I bought several 3 month onesies and outfits at yard sales. It's been fun to have some "new" clothes for Esther.

bumbo time for everyone

We're so sad that Papi moved to CA. He took a principal job in Fresno. We will miss seeing him in Othello so often! But, we are pretty excited to be moving into his house for the next year or so! He had it up on the market for a few months. No bites. So we are moving in and he will list it again next summer. We thought about selling our home. But we decided to rent it out to the Couches, a family in our ward. Our mortgage payment is $750 and their rent is $950. It's nice to have that cushion for any future repairs. We are moving in the end of July and the Couches will move in the first of September.

Benson LOVED Papi's moving truck. It was like Disneyland for him. He and Annika went up the ramp and ran to the back of the truck several times. And Papi gave them a ride around the neighborhood.

Crystal Harris crocheted this skirt for Esther. It's beautiful!

Skinny babe in her "bring home from hospital" outfit. It still fits her. It wasn't ever tight but, I don't think she is gaining weight as much as she should be. She is still sleeping well. In fact she is sleeping through the night! But we have been passing thrush back and forth. So, she might not be eating as well because it's uncomfortable. I really hope we can get rid of it soon!

Sometimes, I just let them make the mess. It's worth the 20 minutes of happiness to clean it up later.

I dyed these cotton gauze swaddle blankets for Esther. I love them! The pink and white one is tie dye.

Playing with the Noah's Ark at Papi's house. Grandpa Stock built it at Gram Pam's request around 12 years ago. She bought two of many animals to fill it up.

Just eating corn on the cob in the garage with Aunt Abby :)

We love having Uncle Keenan home! We went to Westside Pizza with him and Papi and Abby and her bf Shaun on Papi's last night.

Zack likes to give people animal shirts. He sent this to Keenan while he was on his mission.

2 months old!

Sleeping babes are so sweet!

Bambie came to town for her 50 year class reunion. She showed up at our house and we were matching!

Stephen took some beautiful pictures of Esther and our family pictures while they came to visit.

It was kinda last minute. So I don't love our outfits. But, the picture turned out great! I was happy to have three kids looking at the camera, and happy!
