Excerpts from emails to Abby and Keenan:

10/6: We had a good week. We loved conference! I'm sure you did too. Did you have lots of investigators watch?

We went to the dentist last Monday. Annika did awesome. And neither she or I have cavities ! Yay! On Wednesday we went to the biannual pizza feed for OEA. I always love that night where I don't have to make dinner and we get to enjoy yummy pizza:)
Benson loves shooting basketball hoops on our little tikes hoop. He is a doll. He says "uhuh" for yes. He doesn't like to stay in a poppy diaper for long. He touches his bum and tries to get out attention. Then I ask him if he needs his diaper changed and he says "uhuh". Do you think he's ready for potty training?? :) not a chance. But it's pretty cute. He is walking everywhere now!
Annika is currently "making breakfast" for her "girls."
After breakfast she has her backpack packed to go to "school." Busy day for her.
David will start coaching basketball the week before thanksgiving. He is looking forward to it. I'm not looking forward to him being away from home more. But I love watching him coach and the extra income will be nice.

10/13: We picked one of our big pumpkins on Saturday! It's so fun to grow things. The other pumpkin should be orange enough to pick this week. Annika notices Halloween decorations on people's homes and she loves it. We need to get some stuff up at our house. I think Annika is going to be a cat for Halloween and benson a basketball player. David is going to wear his awesome gorilla shirt and I'm not sure what I'm going to be.
I have a new calling. Primary secretary. I'm excited for this calling because it's all about organization and recording things. Also I will get to watch Annika in primary in January. I can't believe she will be a sunbeam. And benson will be 18 months and ready for nursery the last Sunday of November. Hallelujah. He does pretty well most Sundays. But he is too curious and loud for RS. I hope he does all right without us in nursery.

10/20: We went to pick pumpkins at Glenn and Kathy's on Friday with some friends. It was freezing out there but still fun. It's finally starting to feeling like fall out there.
Annika likes to ask everyone what they're going to be for Halloween. In fact she wants to know what you are going to be? When she asked Zack what he was going to be he said a monkey and Annika replied "that will crack us up!" It's my new favorite line that she says. She has changed her plans and wants to be a lion. Well see. Since David is wearing the monkey shirt, I think I'm going to wear a name tag that says Jane Goodall. Good one huh?
We are super stoked for the fire department open house this Thursday! :) I saw it in the newspaper last week. They are serving hot dogs and popcorn , giving tours, and pluggy the robot will be there. So obviously it's a must see and do in othello this week.
Meet the Mormons is playing tonight in othello! We're excited to see it. David invited a friend and his wife to come with us. I think they're planning too.

10/29:

Well it won't be nearly as good as watching the movie. But here is the dialog.

Me: why am I always so sick Annika?

Annika: cuz you pregunt!

Me: and what do we get when I'm done being pregnant?

Annika: (hesitation) books!

Surprise! We're having another baby for you Abby! I'm due May 29th:)

at the Fire Dept Open House. Annika looked forward to this for days! She thought it was a costume party :) We had hot dogs and popcorn, watched a guy suit up, and got to sit in the trucks. Annika loved it!
