Annika's 2nd Birthday!

Happy birthday to our cute little girl! We love you Annika girl! She is ready for her party and so darling with her first set of pig tails ever!

I baked the cakes and Dena did an amazing decorating job!

Benson at McDonald's :)

We took her to McDonald's on her actual bday. She got her 1st happy meal but all she really cared about was the juice box :)

We also went to Pam's Playground on her bday. The party on Friday night was originally going to be there. But we decided our shaded backyard would be more comfortable and easier to use the BBQ there.

Excerpt from email to Abby and Keenan:

 We had a fun weekend. Annika had a cold all week. She was feeling pretty good by her party Friday night. Dena decorated the fish cake and it turned out sooo cute! We just had hotdogs chips melon jello and veggie tray. Very low stress meal. Annika got some cute stuff. grandpa got her a kid lawn mower and a doodle etch a sketch thing. We got her a giant tennis ball and I finished a blanket for her. Dena got her some dress up shoes. Grandma stock got her some pots and pans. Beus gparents got her a book and a frisbee. On her actual bday we took her to McDonald's to get her first happy meal. All she cared about was the juice box:) she has also been letting me do pigtails with her hair which is super cute.
Benson has been giggling and smiling a lot. He is 3 months old now! He is a sweet and happy little guy as always.
