Annika girl is 6 months old!
Stats: 13 pounds 3 oz (10th %tile)
24 3/4 inches (25th %tile)
head circumference of 17 1/4 inches (50th %tile)
We love our petite, smart baby :)
New skills list: sitting up (since 5.5 months), rolling over from tummy to back (since yesterday!- 3/6), squealing just to make noise, grabbing feet (not quite making it to her mouth), pulling a blanket off her head/face, sleeping unswaddled (for about a week now), sleeping in her crib (was in bassinet until 3 weeks ago)
Skills I wish she had: SLEEPING THROUGH THE NIGHT :), putting her binky back in with a higher success rate
Her favorites: sucking on drinking glasses (she seems to reflexively open her mouth wide when she sees a glass), sucking on her wooden blocks, looking in the mirror and dancing with daddy, rubbing her head against daddy's chin stubble, reading books (especially if I let her suck on the board books. I read her a farm animal book yesterday and she laughed when I made the animal sounds. I love this girl!), watching people (she is a very observant little one. When we go somewhere she is very quiet for the 1st several minutes as she takes everything in and checks out the new people), going for walks (wish it was nice outside every day but spring is coming)
She is still loving baby food. In fact she has come to expect a jar of food around 6pm every night. It's funny how fast she picks up on things. She will eat squash and carrots now, when they are mixed in with fruit of course. :) I nurse her every 3.5 hrs or so. She is down to one feeding at night, usually at 3:30 am.
We love our little girl!
haha i love that she is mad at you in the first picture because it is just so cute! you're such a good mommy. it's so cool to see her sitting up!!!
