36.5 Weeks

This baby has definitely dropped! It's easier to breathe, but I have to go to the bathroom more often:) At my appt last Wednesday, the Dr. said she is at a -2 station. I also measured 38cm at an appt 1.5 weeks before this one. On Wednesday I measured 34cm.

I am starting weekly appointments now. Unfortunately, the Dr. I have been seeing my whole pregnancy is out of town for the next 2 weeks. Then, he will be home for a few days before he leaves for another couple days. I am hoping that he is here to deliver this baby because I have really liked him. But, the Dr. I am seeing while Dr. Bunch is gone has delivered 1000's of babies. So, I guess I'm in good hands still. I am getting more nervous about the labor and delivery of this little girl. It is comforting to know that so many women have done this before.

We went to a birthing class last week. The pizza was good, but the class did not need to be 2 hours long. However, it was good to learn about breathing and pushing and David's role in the delivery room.

The baby room is all set for this little one. We finally got the crib set up (my uncle gave it to us with no directions for set up. it was so nice of him to give us the crib though:). Her clothes and blankets are folded/hung in the closet. I just love going in her room and thinking about the near future! I have been making hair bows/flowers for her, since she will need one to go with every outfit of course.

I am done with school!!! I finished last Wednesday (8/3). I am signed up to take the NCLEX PN (the state exam for LPN license) on 8/18 at 8am. I have to give them 24 hr notice to cancel/change my appt. So, I'm praying that this baby doesn't come on the 17 or 18.
