We slept in until 8. David made us delicious eggs and a fruit smoothie. We watched last night's Office episode while we ate breakfast. and it was a good one! We left our house a little before ten and went to the Columbia River Temple.
There was a just married couple going out the front doors right ahead of us. It was a reminiscent sight. They weren't sure how they were supposed to walk out- how fast, who goes out first, do we kiss? It was cute. We decided that, yes our wedding day was a really wonderful day, but we like where we're at in life now. Mostly, we like that we have a baby on the way now:)
For lunch, we dined at the very fancy Road 68 Applebee's. :) We got the 2 entrees and an appetizer for $20 deal. The mozz sticks were yummy. David got a grilled bourbon chicken and shrimp plate (and a Pepsi of course- I'm too cheap to have 2 drinks on our order, so I always order water. David always shares though). I ordered a three cheese penne and chicken dish.
After lunch, we went to Heather and Nathan's house for a short visit and to borrow a frisbee. Those kids are the cutest. And Heather's pretty cute too.
We went to Columbia Park by the river and played a little Frolf (that's frisbee golf). There was a dog that wanted to play frisbee with us. Unfortunately, the nice dog was used to playing with a soft frisbee- one that he can really bite into and get a good grip. He ended up biting through the frisbee in a few places. David's frisbee skill went downhill from there and he blamed it on the holey disc. whatever.
We went to a few stores and found a birthday gift for my momma (3/27). I think she's going to love it. Then we went home. We might get a movie tonight. We really didn't do anything spectacular. But, it was just a great day. I love David.
That sounds like a perfect day! I live when matt & I get to hang out all day together! :)
