Update

Annika got her ears pierced for her 10th birthday last month! She is by far the most patient person in our family. She’s doing soccer and piano. She hasn’t played soccer since she was 6 but she’s always up for trying new things. She is really excelling in piano. I don’t have to tell her to practice. I’m amazed at her self motivation. Benson is 8 and just started flag football. He loves playing catch in the backyard and is pretty good! He’s been doing a lot of football kicking when playing catch too. That seems to be his current favorite thing to do. His team is the Seahawks this flag football season. I love watching my kids play sports. He doesn’t love school but he does well academically. He’s just starting to get into piano. I hope his interest continues for a few years at least. Esther is 6 and in kindergarten. She is a force to be reckoned with! We have a lot of talks. 😊 She is playing soccer and loving it! She is so sweet and attentive with Macy. Tyson is 3. He is also quite a handful. Also so cute and I love his imaginative play. But he’s kinda wild.😄 We’ve been playing “fire station” as much as we can downstairs. He is the captain and Macy and I are his helper firefighters. It’s all set up at the bottom of the stairs. He has his vehicles parked and uses his gas pump as the fire hose. The gymnastics mat is leaned against the wall as our ladder. We sleep on our “bunk bed”, eat, go put out fires, and wash the truck. (Speaking of bunk bed, Tyson recently started sharing a room with benson and sleeping on the bottom bunk. The other day he asked if he can bring his bunk bed with him when he dies.😊)  Macy will be 14 months next week. She isn’t walking yet but gets around just fine. She doesn’t get into things as much as I remember my other babies doing. She’s easy to please and so adorable. Her favorite pastimes are playing in gravel or rocks, riding the gator with Tyson, emptying the container drawer, and watching the cats and dogs.

I’m trying to incorporate more exercise in my life. Mostly walks and 10 minute weights on fitness blender. I’m the boys activity assistant. It’s been fun to be with benson for that. David is taking the day off tomorrow so I can go to Kennewick to spend the day with grandma- water color painting and goodwill shopping. We love going to the goodwill outlet for things are sold by the pound. 😊

David was just called to be the stake executive secretary. 😬😊 We are a little overwhelmed but honored to have the blessings that will surely come to our family as he fulfills this calling.
