March

The canal is filled in and the project appears to be finished! The big construction vehicles were great entertainment during this freezing winter. But it's nice to see the dirt mounds smoothed out and have our view back. I'm also loving the sight of the ground, even if it is dead grass and dirt! It was a loooong winter with snow covered ground for months.

Nap time for Esther= movie time for these two. It's sweet to see them sharing a chair :)

Esther still loves to put on everyones' shoes. The soccer shoes are a favorite.

pig tails! They sure are cute for the 20 minutes they stay in. She doesn't pull them out. Her hair just isn't quite long enough to stay in.

belly button! She is too cute!

I think this was on a trip to Wenatchee. I love watching my sweet sleeping babies.

Darth Vader pushing the gravel around. I love it when he asks me to tie his blanket as a cape.

They did trufula trees from The Lorax to celebrate Dr. Seuss week at the library. Annika loves doing the crafts at story time.

sweet babes after church. I love finding ways to match the girls' outfits.

Esther has taken the job of feeding the cats and Sadie upon herself. She has been interested in their food for some time. She likes to take a few pieces and put them in front of Sadie's or the cats' faces and say "here." It cracks me up.

sweet Annika brought me breakfast in bed :) She is such a kind hearted and charitable soul.

St Patrick's Day!

Benson pushed the picnic bench up to the car and sat on top

I was laughing when I came outside to not only find Benson on top of the car, but also Esther standing on the patio table blowing bubbles. The higher up the better, I guess.

Annika and Benson have been really into the beanie babies lately. It's fun to see them play with my childhood collection :) Annika had all of them down for nap in this picture :) On another day, she brought all of them animals up and said she was preparing for a hurricane that was going to hit. She said she read about it in the newspaper and she needed to go to the store to get food before it was all gone. I just love her imagination!

Then she brought them all to the table to feed them.

spring soccer! I'm not coaching this season because David is coaching tennis and unable to come sit with Esther and Benson on the sideline. It's been a nice change to just watch from the sideline and not worry about coaching. Annika has been 100 times more aggressive than she was in the fall. It's been so fun to watch her progress and enjoy it!

This is a side by side of my mom (left) and Esther at probably 15 months. I've seen my mom in Esther's face many times. It's fun to see, especially since we named her Esther Pamala.

trampoline at Dena's. We love going to Dena's house!

soccer huddle time :)

Brynlee and Esther coloring. We love having Brooklyn and Brynlee over! We've watched them a couple times this spring.

for my mom's birthday, we went wore our Pamathon shirts and went to Lion's Park for a picnic lunch. Dena and Janelle and her kids met us there. Candice Walker and Charity Miller happened to be there playing, which I believe was a tender mercy. It wasn't a coincidence that they were there on my mom's birthday. :) After the park, we went to the cemetery and placed flowers and pinwheels near her grave. It was a lovely way to celebrate my mom.

some sweet selfies!

on my mom's birthday, I pulled up a slideshow that I made for my family of our memories of 2009. It was sweet to see them watching it together.

cowgirl Annika :) This must have been when we went to Jan Walker's house to ride ponies and see her animals. This is one of Annika's favorite places to go.

hats!

Esther was not shy during soccer season. She asked for snacks from other people, brought jackets she found on the ground to people (who they didn't belong too :)), and joined in huddle time. She is a cute handful!

Benson, Annika, and I went to Utah with Papi for the first half of Spring Break! David wanted to stay home and do yard work and Esther wouldn't have been much fun traveling. A and B did great in the car. We did stop a lot for potty breaks. But they were happy and easy. We were able to see Alainna and her kids and meet Oliver for the first time. I went by myself since A and B had colds and I didn't want to spread that to Oliver. We also had lunch with my roommates Erin, Mandy, and Melissa. It was so fun to see them and meet their kids!
