November

I bought these matching dresses when I was pregnant with Esther. doll babies!

scuba diver shirt! He calls it his "papi shirt"

one of my favorite yard sale outfits

I was crazy and took the kids to get ice cream after we went to the library, before lunch! They love going to Frutaletas. Next time I will just get two small cups and share. Annika always gets cotton candy :)

Esther and cousin Hannah! Esther is 2 1/2 months older. It's so wonderful to live near cousins and watch them grow up together.

Sometimes it's hard to get a normal smile :) I have a few flannel and plaid button downs for this handsome boy.

dress up time! I love the leg warmers underneath :)

happy baby with her sister!

This girl and her daddy. So sweet!

My darling eskimos. These two love to play outside together!

My sweet cousin Tally's husband, Jason, was killed when he hit a deer with his car. Esther and I were able to go to the funeral in WY. Blake and Julie paid for my airline ticket and I tagged along with Grandma and Grandpa. They paid for my hotel rooms. It was so sweet of them to make this trip so feasible for me. Jessica watched the kids while David was at work for two days. And David took the third day off while I was traveling home. Annika ended up throwing up, so it was a perfectly good day for him to take a sick day anyways.
I made it through most of the viewing (they had several speakers) before I started feeling sick. We sadly, ended up skipping the funeral and driving to our hotel outside of Denver. Grandma and Grandpa were not that disappointed to miss the funeral. We were at the church for the viewing and speakers for several hours and were able to mingle with family there. We were about 20 minutes down the road on our way to Denver, when I told Grandpa to pull over. I couldn't get the door unlocked. So I put my window down and threw up with my head and hair hanging out the window. Grandma opened her front door half way through my puke session. She was trying to help me open my door. I told her she was going to get puke on her in the wind and she said "I don't care!" It has been a fun story to retell. I ate some saltines and a shower and went to bed once we got to the hotel. I can't remember, but it must've been Esther's bed time too. Esther woke up during the night and I heard her throw up. My incoherent thought was "it's ok. I will clean her up in the morning. Jessica would do that too." Haha! Fortunately, I came to my senses not long after this and rolled out of bed. I cleaned up Esther and got her new pjs. And then I went to the bathroom and threw up again. Fortunately, Esther was so exhausted and not feeling good, that she went right back to sleep. I felt ok, just weak, in the morning. So I ate some of the continental breakfast and held it down just fine. Esther only threw up that one time. But she was very lethargic, which was actually kind of nice for the airport and flight. I was thirsty when we got to the airport so I bought a smoothie at Starbucks. It had flax seed or something with texture in it. It was gross but I felt like I had to drink it since I just paid like $5 for it! :) Esther did great on the flights and I hope we didn't infect the other passengers. I talked to grandma and grandpa a week later and they never got sick. So that is good!
I was not envisioning this trip to WY and to support Tally to be like this. But, I'm so glad that we didn't get sick before we left WA and that I was able to hug Tally. My heart is broken for her.

They build their first snow man with daddy!

Abby came for Thanksgiving break! She had Annika help her seal envelopes for wedding invites. It was cute and funny that she had a 4 year old helping her. She missed Shaun a lot but we were glad to have her with us one more time before she gets married!

My favorite of Esther's PJs! They say little sister and have bright coral polka dots. Jessica got them for her.

onesie from grandma Stock!

This sweet thing is 6 months old! She is gaining weight and rolling over. She isn't sitting up yet. We love this girl!
