April

4/26: 8 months pregnant

this kid doesn't seem to mind running around shirtless. It drives David and me crazy because his slobber problem in more prominent on a bare tummy. Hopefully, he learns to swallow his spit before kindergarten!

playing in Papi's car! This is probably in Benson's top three favorite things to do. It's up there with watching the Minion movie trailer and shooting hoops with daddy.

another dentist visit in the books. She did great again and even let them polish her teeth this time.  Benson will have an appointment at our next visit in October. I don't think he will be as cooperative as his sister.

The kids love to go to Subway with Papi. And so do I! We usually have lunch at his school cafeteria or at Subway once a week. It's great. We get to see Papi, get out of the house, and have free and prepared lunch. :) The kids mostly love Subway because Papi always gets them cheetos. Annika loves the chocolate milk at the school.

My little artist

Annika drew this cute fish and I was so impressed!
Benson bringing water to daddy at a tennis match

We have been playing at Lions Park a lot while daddy coaches tennis. Tennis is a million times better than coaching basketball. With tennis, we can be outside and David can interact with the kids a lot more. We go to most of his home matches at Kiwanis and sometimes bring Burger King. It's a fun outing and nice not to be at home without daddy in the evening.  It is a pain for me to keep tabs on Benson sometimes. This pregnancy is definitely harder physically than the first two. I have several varicose veins in my legs (and down there) that make it uncomfortable to stand for more than a few minutes. I think the extra weight gain makes a big difference. I gained 20 with Annika, 30 with Benson, and I'm on track to gain 40 with this one. Good thing I get a sweet little baby soon!

sometimes, just catching them in the same frame is a successful picture

this photogenic girl melts my heart. This is her Easter dress from Papi.

4/12

4/18: I took Annika to Tri Cities for a mommy/daughter date. It was really fun. We went yard saling with Jessica. I didn't' find much but Annika found a cute minnie mouse doll and some other trinkets (aka junk that I hope to give to GoodWill soon:). Then, we went to lunch at Jack in the Box. I let her get her own drink and she was pretty happy about that. Next, we went to the temple grounds and Annika insisted on taking lots of pictures of me, which I am happy to have now. After the temple, we returned some things to Kohls and then headed home. It was a fun little outing with my girl.

car selfie with Daddy! In another month, Annika will be sitting in the back seat, and an infant carrier will be where her car seat currently is.

This girl loves to lick the batter, like most kids ;)

she almost always takes one of Papi's business cards while we visit him for lunch :)
