35 weeks and almost 20 months

I'm 35 weeks pregnant this week. I'm starting to have lower back and round ligament pains when we go for walks. So, sadly, we aren't going for very long or frequent walks anymore.  Fortunately, Annika is happy to walk to Pam's Playground, which is only a few blocks away. And we spend a lot of time playing in our backyard now. She has a little slide and this gradual ramp she can ride a car down.  I wish we could go for walks more, but I don't want to end up on bed rest. I feel like this baby is going to come early. But, we don't want him to come this early. I had an appt yesterday and everything looks good. No signs of labor on its way yet.
Annika isn't sick or teething at the moment, so we've been enjoying better quality sleep. I really hope she magically becomes a more solid sleeper when this baby comes.  She is so fun during the day though. I truly love spending my days with her. She is so curious and happy most of the time. These pictures are from the last month or so. She's almost 20 months old.
We love to meet daddy on his walk home from work

I had an adorable jean skirt on her with this shirt. She didn't like the skirt from the second I put it on her. I convinced her to leave it on. But, 5 minutes later, she walked out to the living room with these football pj pants and wanted to change out of the skirt. I was amazed by her cuteness, so I helped her change.

playing in the front yard

chillin' in her baby doll cradle

her 1st sucker! :) Strawberry dum dum given to her by the waitress and Chen's Family Dish (my favorite when I'm pregnant)

Daddy had a youth temple trip so we went along and did our grocery shopping. She loved walking around the temple. Well, mostly she liked going up and down all the stairs around the temple grounds.

watching a cat under our car. This squatting position is my favorite. She does it all the time when she's watching a cat or dog (and not just when they're under a car. she does it no matter where they are. It's like it helps her focus on the animal or something. what a cutie!)

In her Pam-A-Thon 2013 shirt. The event went perfectly this year. Wonderful weather and a slightly increased turn out of people. Annika slept for most of the walk. I wasn't planning on walking more than around the block. But, I decided to walk the 5k with David and Annika. I want to say I walked/ran at least one of the full distances each year. Next year, I might even get crazy and train to run the 1/2 M.

In her cute boots. I love that face!

Easter Sunday. Aunt Anya gave her this dress for Christmas. She had a cold that Sunday. But she was still happy to pose for pictures!

not sure where the arm behind the head pose came from

This is her "beautiful" smile that is across her face in most pictures. David loves it more than anyone and therefore he encourages it. He likes to show her smile off to everyone. It's pretty funny. He always tells her "you have a beautiful smile" after.
more of her beautiful smile!

She loves watching daddy play basketball. She likes watching our neighbors too. Yesterday, we sat out on the front lawn for a good 5 minutes just watching them play.

Along with her signature smile, she always stands in front of this same wall when we ask to take her picture. funny funny kid.

33 Weeks

This was last week (32). This is what she did when I said "Can you give little brother loves?" So sweet. I wish I would have taken it with a nicer camera to have better resolution.
33 Weeks pregnant this week! The end isn't seeming too far off! I had a dr appt this morning and everything looks good. I am gaining a healthy amount of weight.  I have to remind myself of this because I am gaining faster than I did with Annika, which is hard for me to be ok with sometimes. Maybe we'll have a big boy!
I'm still feeling good for the most part. no major aches and pains. It's getting harder to be comfortable while sleeping. I don't enjoy putting tennis shoes on. Annika is getting pretty good at putting her own socks shoes on. She does really well with her right foot. The left foot is usually a struggle. I need to teach her to put my shoes on for me! Annika and I go for lots of walks and are loving the mostly sunny days now. We're excited to meet our little boy soon!
