3rd Trimester

27 weeks pregnant= officially in 3rd Trimester! I had a dr appt yesterday. Everything looks good. BP is really low so I'm trying to drink more and eat more salty foods :) I'm measuring 7 cm bigger than last month (4 cm is a normal increase). Dr. isn't worried at this point. We might do another ultrasound next month if I'm still increasing at this rate. I'm pretty sure we're not having twins... Anyways, I'm feeling good and enjoying this part of pregnancy. We have once again picked a new name for this little guy. We'll see how long this one sticks. I think this is the 3rd name that we have decided is "the one." I hope this is it. I don't like the periods of time when we don't have a name for him.
I have finished 2 blankets for our baby boy. It has been so fun to make them! One is just a swaddling blanket that I made from cotton gauze. I just sewed around the edges on that one. The other one is flannel. Footballs on one side and marble looking blue on the other. I embroidered "BYU" in the bottom corner. I love both of the blankets and can't wait to wrap our baby in them in a few months!

18 Months

Our little bug is 18 months. We really can't call her a baby anymore. She's a toddler. An adorable, sassy, petite, cuddly, little girl.
Her stats:
20.2 lbs
29.5 inches tall
19 inch head circ.
still in the 5th%tile baby!
(and 90th%tile for head!)

We did an 18 month photo shoot last Sunday at my Dad's house. He took almost 200 pictures. So we got a lot of good ones!
Annika loves playing hide and seek with daddy, GOING OUTSIDE (for walks, playing in the yard or at Pam's Playground), playing in the car (supervised of course), chocolate, blueberries, cheese, broccoli, corn, peas, green beans, popcorn, rice, pasta, spaghetti sauce, water, milk, putting socks on her hands, coloring, putting her baby doll in her old car seat (buckle, unbuckle, repeat), snuggling up next to me or daddy with her blanket and binky while we watch TV, dumping out all of her books, lifting up my shirt and pushing my belly button in while she laughs (she thinks my belly button is her little brother), throwing a tennis ball and chasing it around the house, helping us unload the silverware and containers, bath time with Daddy (for some reason she almost always cries when I wash her hair, but not for daddy), carrying her husky beanie baby around, talking to our neighbors dogs, emptying drawers, dumping games out then putting them away (repeat), putting lotion on, putting chapstick on her cheeks, siting on my lap while I do my make up, watching receipts print out at the grocery store, helping me stir whatever I'm cooking, using her own fork, riding on daddy's shoulders, visiting dad during his lunch, going to sleep (she usually gets excited when we ask if she's ready for a nap or bed time), running around the house (she just started running the circuit from the kitchen and through the living room), doing a shuffle step, dancing (she's got moves), dancing while I hold her hands and sway her back and forth, dancing in daddy's arms ("I'm so glad when daddy comes home"), looking at babies' feet, looking  out the window (she is really good at spotting cats and squirrels), running around in her diaper while she pounds her chest and yells.
She still isn't talking. In fact she has stopped saying mama and dada. Not sure what's going on. She knows some signs (all done, please, chocolate- you know, the essentials:). She knows several animal sounds (snake, fish, cow, gorilla- pounding her chest). She nods and shakes her head and understands everything. She just doesn't seem to be interested in talking yet. Apparently none of the kids in David's family were talking before age 2. So, I'm not worried yet. It would just be fun if she was talking already!
