We are looking forward to another birthday celebration for my mom and getting some good exercise (both things were important to her:).

25 weeks and an almost 18 month old

First of all, in the picture above, my shirt has puffy sleeves. No need to to intimidated. I have definitely not been lifting weights. In fact, I haven't done much working out during this pregnancy, other than taking walks when it's warm enough for us. I keep thinking I should do some core strengthening exercising, but I just haven't. Maybe writing about it will motivate me. :) Annika and I love going for walks and playing at Pam's Playground. I wish the weather allowed for a walk every day!
I'm 25 weeks pregnant this week. I feel good. My growing belly is making it a little harder to wrestle Annika down for diaper changes.  I love thinking about our little boy growing in there. Such a miracle! I organized all of his clothes last weekend. His newborn and 0-3 month clothes are neatly folded in Annika's future pink chest of drawers. We appreciate the plethora of cute hand-me-downs we have inherited. We decided to keep Annika in the nursery until baby boy grows out of the bassinet. So she will take over the pink drawers when they switch rooms.
This little girl has a cute and silly personality! This is the pose and face she gave me when I said "smile Annika!".  She makes us laugh a lot. She has recently learned (I won't say who taught her) that passing gas is funny. She looks at us and smiles after she toots. She used to shake her head when we asked rhetorically "was that you?". Now she usually owns up to it. :)
Me and my girl
Random note: Annika will be 18 months old the end of this month. Since I was called as a nursery leader last fall, she has just been coming with me. She does much better in there now that she is steady on her feet. The first few Sundays last November were rough.  Last Sunday, she sat in her chair for the whole lesson. Granted, the lesson was only 3 minutes long, but still! I was impressed.
I love these two cuties!
