This weekend we went to Manti, UT. We just wanted to have a little adventure and leave Spanish Fork for a night. And it happened to be the mark of 3 months of marriage for us on Friday. We didn't know anything about Manti, other than it being the location of the Manti Temple. We drove through several small towns are our way there. David even stopped in a few of them for me. We had a great time exploring.
One of the small towns we drover through- Fountain Green. Home of the Lamb Day. We might have to go back for that.
So, when we were leaving the cemetery in Moroni, David made me laugh so hard. He was driving very cautiously on the gravel road that went through the cemetery. He put his blinker on for slight turns and came to complete stops as he deemed necessary. He also was on the lookout for pedestrians. He said that cemeteries are generally high traffic areas. I couldn't stop laughing!
There was a Moroni statue!

These are our sad faces of respect
The Manti Temple is beautiful!
Our motel was right below the temple and within walking distance of a cemetery and several little historical statues and plaques. It was fun just to walk around and learn more about the settlers of Manti. We decided we really like cemeteries. For real. They are really neat.
The following pictures have nothing to do with Manti. This is one of our favorite lunches. Hot dog men and jojos. My mom used to do this for us. You just cut a slit up the middle for the legs and a slit on each side for arms. When you broil them, the arms and legs curl out. So fun! David is always in charge of the fry sauce. He does a great job. Such a good little helper :)
We had some fun with Photobooth. I know it's early, but, we're thinking of using this one for our Christmas card. What do you think?
